Republic Day is an annual celebration held on January 26th to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950. This significant day fills the nation with a sense of pride and unity, as people come together to participate in parades and ceremonies held across cities and towns throughout the country. The focal point of the celebrations is the grand parade at Rajpath in New Delhi, featuring cultural performances, elaborately decorated floats, and an impressive display of military prowess.
In addition to the magnificent parade, people across India hoist the National Flag and sing the National Anthem, embodying a spirit of patriotism and joy. The entire country is engulfed in happiness and celebration as citizens take part in various activities to honor the essence of Republic Day. Our campus, too, was abuzz with the vibrancy and spirit of this august occasion, as students and faculty showcased their talents and expressed their love for the nation through cultural performances, patriotic songs, and meaningful activities.
